When to call rather than write
Call if you have a deadline, an exchange date, an enforcement letter or a planning refusal to discuss, because those are faster to untangle by phone. Write if you want something checked properly: send the postcode, the property type, what you want to build and roughly when, and you will get a considered answer rather than a holding reply.
